Sometimes when I set out to create a composition, I must try several different ways of positioning things, changing details, changing sizes and so on. The idea of any composition is to achieve maximum appeal and communication. It's almost like trying on clothes to create a new outfit to wear. Once in awhile one will have to try different clothes/designs for hours to weeks before finding the best fit.

ReplyDeleteThank you! It's really important to experiment and try many possibilities in order to find the best way to communicate different pieces of the story. When I settle on one, then I'll do a fully rendered color version.
